CASE STUDY

MCM Security Standardisation

Melbourne City Mission is Melbourne’s leading community support organisation working alongside people to live the life they aspire to, their way, providing a broad range of support in multiple service areas. Nationwide has had the pleasure of partnering with MCM to provide all of their security needs since 2016.

Challenge

Following a security risk assessment in 2020 MCM took advice to formulate a standardised approach to the security for each of their assets. These property assets featured electronic security hardware of differing manufacturers, models and serviceability. The greatest challenge was the management of the multiple access control systems for a large employee base moving across each asset and requiring strict levels of access.

Solution

Nationwide worked closely with MCM’s property team to survey each property to identify the best approach of standardising their electronic security equipment onto platforms that would serve their needs well into the future. Our comprehensive solution included access control, CCTV, intrusion detection & monitoring, duress alarms and intercoms.
